Description

The Aepinus Condenser is an educational electrostatics apparatus used for demonstrating the principles of capacitance, electrostatic induction and the effect of dielectric materials. The apparatus consists of two circular metal plates that can be adjusted to vary the separation between them.

Each plate is approximately 100 mm in diameter and is mounted on an insulated support with an insulated handle for safe and convenient adjustment. A removable dielectric plate is provided for studying the effect of inserting an insulating material between the charged plates.

The complete assembly is supported on insulating pillars, providing electrical isolation from the base and making the apparatus suitable for electrostatics experiments.
